The Flood...

Forgot to add this pic to the blog.  A few weeks ago the electric company was digging up and replacing 30 year old lines when they cut through an unmarked water line right next to our property. 

This is the river that resulted. Later we heard that the entire contents of the City of Lafayette water tower went down our street.  

This may have helped the lake algae problem - the lake was nearly 1/3 covered with a thick mat of algae and getting worse.  After the tank ran down our road and dumped into the lake, the algae is almost gone.
