Trim

Pricing out wooden trim was a shock. Most 8 ft. Pieces ran about $20 each. So we did something different. Using straight 10' Douglas fir 2x4's, we routed a beautiful edge with Jacks router. Then using my table saw, trimmed a 1/2" off the bottom length and ripped the 2x4 in half.

we tried several stains and finally settled on an medium oak stain with polyurethane.

The end result is perfect and total cost per each 10' piece? $1.88.
