It's now December and almost time for us to close the lake house for the season depending on how quickly it gets too cold to work or visit. It's also time to look back over the year and acknowledge how much we have all accomplished.
This is the end of the second season of our work on the property. We have now owned it for almost a year and a half. The changes between how we bought it and now are massive.

1 Resided Front of house
2 City Water - dug trench, laid pipe and refilled
3 Plumbed entire house
4 Painted front of house
5 Added gutters
6 Built dock
7 Built stair access
8 Firepit
9 Cleared front yard of stones and debris
10 Removed rest of fence
11 Acquired next door property
12 Rewired much of house
13 Bathroom plumbing
14 Added outside shower
15 Treehouse
16 Cleared back yard and side yard
17 Removed tons of shingles
18 Laid new floor
19 Added railing to front deck
20 Installed stove and refrigerator
21 Installed outside deck lights
22 Connected water heater
23 Added utility sink in back room
24 Bobcat graded around property - added usable area near dock stairs
25 Removed old dock
26 Cleaned out under porch deck
27 Bought a boat and a kayak
28 Installed support posts under front porch deck
29 Installed new concreted in tie off posts for dock
30 Removed courtyard flagstones and stacked them
31 Removed most of debris pile by garage end of house
32 Cleared much of the new property of brush and deadfall.
33 Installed most of the missing skirting
34 Removed a ton of old wiring, old plumbing, walls and debris
35 Built front porch side roof supports
36 Realigned front porch side railing
37 Installed a basketball goal
