Ladies and Gentlemen, May I present Deb Alexander; Jack of all trades, Roofer, Lumberjack, Housewife and Landscaper!

Yesterday Deb and John went out to the lake house alone to work on the roof.  I had imagined that she would just try and start a ridge cap over the newly repaired section and then return home.

What she really did is incredible considering she was alone except for a nine year old boy and has a painful stress fracture of her left foot.

She not only completed the ridge cap, but continued adding the cap to the other portion of the roof.  She completed a roofing repair on the area above the front porch where about 15 feet of shingles had blown away.   After all that she worked on a wood pile cutting it down to burn barrel size, cleaned the interior of the house and engaged in hand to hand combat with a voracious raccoon which had shredded our trash.

She then texted me saying she couldn't see in the dark so she was unable to mix the concrete to pour into the I beam support hole!

Then she went home and cooked dinner for all of the great unwashed....

Did I marry well or what?
