Roof Detail

Andrew bravely went up into the top roof to scope out the overall condition and damage.  He shot a complete video survey of the rafters, beams and sheathing.   We were pleasantly surprised to find less damage than we feared.  We knew that about 10 feet of the right front was bad, but the damage is to sheathing only - joists/rafters all look in good shape.

Several vents are also leaking and will need to be reflashed.  A good surprise is finding the stove chimney is NOT disconnected in the attic as stated by the previous owner and there are no signs of burning, charrring or signs of smoke/soot.

The only other concern is the ton and a half of raccoon poop mysteriously located solely over the porch metal roof.  Odd.
