1) complete all deck boards into porch deck.
2) Snap chalk line across front of all deck boards but not behind the rim joist. Cut on this line being careful not to cut too close to the rim joist.
3) Cut 2 4" small boards and tie them together using screws and six feet of string.
4) Install lower rail and check for level. Level is higher priortity than actually measured distance as seen from deck board top to bottom of rail - however, hedging either way should not sacrifice too much of one for the sake of other. Cut out and install Top Plate.
4b) Using the 4'boards, install ballusters down the rail, beginning four inches from post and hopefully ending same at middle or end post. Measure and calulate number of ballusters needed for railing interval and adjust from 4" spacing if last balluster significantly deviates from 4". Install 1" back rails up and down of ballusters end points. Complete nailing in top plate.
5) Development placement of FOUR Pergoda posts which will also be the rail supports of the FRONT deck. Calulate length of posts to be purchased - Check if 4 x 6 may be best selection over 4 x 4.
6) Clean up main room and sort all tools, hardware and lumber into customary positions.
7) Burn barrels to be burning like hell-fire the entire time.
8) Order a water delivery for today if possible.
9) Order a dumpster delivery.
10) Review siding with Michael. Check on scaffolding.
11) Secure garage door
