Today we mostly catch up with finishing tasks. John finished varathaning the ceiling boards, Nathan re-cut the messed up flight and Jason dug a trench for water, electric and retaining wall stones. Jason also poured concrete along the trench to support the steps. Nathan and John also used up the rest of the house paint and painted about a quarter of the back of the house.
Andrew installed about 25 hurricaine ties to connect the rafters to the middle beam and I generally helped. I also installed a dedicated circuit line for the air conditioner and buttoned up the electrical boxes in the great room. Andrew also dressed up the closet I shortened.
Katie made dinner of brauts, hotdogs, mac n' cheese, beans and watermelon. We watched a movie and came home.
