Whew

What was to be an exciting and fun day shaping and installing the knotted pine ceilings turned into a long, drawn out exhausting experience caused by the 101 degree heat. The heat by itself wasn't so bad but working with wood and the inevitable clouds of sawdust from planing, routing and sanding mixing with rivers of sweat made for a miserable experience.

We got a later than hoped for start and the day was already sweltering before we even began the first cut. By the end of the day we completed only nine boards - cut, shaped, cleaned and polyurethaned.

But these nine look damn good and are worth the effort.

Now that we have everything set up and know what we are doing tomorrow should be a lot more productive.
