Calculated impact force in pounds of a resting object, falling over from a height of 12 feet with one end on the ground is found by calulating the acceleration from rest to impact using the varying weight of the end of the object as it swings through it's arc.

If the reinforced dock doesn't survive that impact force than we haven't built as well as we think we did.
