They found the boat settled down into the water, half full of ice. Ice on the surface of the lake was at least 3 inches thick. Together they struggled to pull the heavy boat ashore. During all that our dog Daisy wandered out onto the ice and fell through into the icy water.
Mike went into the water after her and got her back to shore.
