It's all about the little things...

Liberating a set of garage door panels I was struck once again by the thought of how often susan, the previous owner, has unwittingly helped us out.

It seems when we need something bad enough for the property, somewhere in one of the junk piles she left behind, is exactly what we need. The garage door is only the latest....

Here is a list...

Garage door.
Push broom
Flat spade for roof work
Sledge hammer
Garage door wheels new in box
Flagstones
Concrete mix
Huge deck umbrella we used for shade
Huge wind tunnel like fan Giant
planks for the scaffolding
Doors. Omg, doors, doors, doors
Jack posts three of them
A complete set of very nice windows
A telephone pole we used to support the house
Two pallets of shingles for the roof
Ten foot sections of PVC pipe
Chicken wire to cover the giant fan and for concrete reinforcement
Rebar
Coal shovel
Hardwood flooring
A wood ladder
An attic folding ladder
A three foot pike
Crow bars
Cabinets for the back room
4x4posts 4x6 posts
Electrical conduit

All the raccoon crap a family would ever need..

There are dozens more things that have been there when we needed them. I will add them as I recall each. Dave - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad
