Backed my jeep into the driveway, opened the door and looked down and saw a sight so wonderful I nearly cried: a genuine, dirt encrusted marvel of modern day civilization; a water meter!
Looks like it was installed earlier today and exactly where Deb had staked it out. There is a blue pex pipe sticking out of the ground which I presume is meant for us to hook up to. This helps out a lot as pex is much easier for us to connect to than to attach fittings and adapters to the meter itself.
