Water Meter

The contractor is coming to install a water meter in the next three weeks and the placement is something of a concern. We are needing to figure out where our buried electrical service is and if there is enough room for a meter and the house supply pipes can be dug around them on that side of the house. If not we have a real problem as our septic tank and it's outflow lines cross the remaining part of the house.

The only other place for the meter would be one side or the other of the driveway. The supply line would have to run alongside one edge or the other. It would be best if it could run along the inside of the driveway and on to just under the edge of the house. From here the pipe could rise through the master bedroom closet and connect to the existing system But the trench dug for this approach may encounter the septic system. And while we know where the septic is located, we have no idea of it's outer boundaries.

We need to have the electric lines located and quickly. We also need a septic tank inspection and a confirmation of it's outer edges.

And we need to do all this asap.
