Yesterday we pretty much completed the front deck, although we cheated by temporally nailing down the front deck boards instead of screwing them in. We also painted the shingles on the porch roof (using a roller which iwill never ever do again, next time we spray these babies.).
Scaffolding worked like a charm - we stacked the two sections together and got the height and platform we needed.
While we were doing the deck boards and painting, Deb revealed a part of her personality I never knew about before, pyromania. The woman loves to burn and made a very determined effort to burn down The house, the forest, perhaps the entire planet.
Today we are prepRing for the open porch party. We have our work cut out for us.
