Porch Post redux

Today we realized our original post support design for the porch roof would not work due to wood rot in the rafters. So once again we take two steps forward only to have to take one step back. The one installed post was removed and a 2n6 T shaped truss support installed. The above pic shows the installed truss and two posts. Deb and I are very pleased with the result and are eager to seed the porch finished.

THe little boys we ere given a day off and went fishing and swam with their cousin Stillie. Deb's sister Pattie and my mother visit for the first time.
